finally found some information on the reboot of twilight zone movie, although its dated july last year, and im not entirely 100 precent on the facts yet.....her is the infor for you....
Leonardo DiCaprio's Production Company, Appian Way just hired Rand Ravich to write the script for a new "Twilight Zone" film. The film will be based on the hugely influential television series created by Rod Serling in 1959. The film will probably not have any attachment to "Twilight Zone: the Movie" which was produced in the earlier 80's. The film was split into four parts and each part was helmed by different directors. The film was a mixed bag but is mainly remembered for the tragic on set deaths deaths of actor Vic Morrow and two children, as they were all killed by a helicopter that malfunctioned and crashed on set.
There is no word yet as to what the film would be about or if it will take a similar route to the first film; using popular episodes as the basis for the scripts. Hopefully though they will learn the lesson that no previous Twilight Zone reboot has learned: SHOOT IT IN BLACK AND WHITE, IT'S MUCH SCARIER THAT WAY!
