This movie was good, i watched it and for a remake its nto bad, it even has a few props they used from the original movie, the clockwork owl is the EXACT same one from teh original feature, there is no mistaking it, and while htis movie is almost totally diffeernt from the original, it is almost like watching it for the first time all over again.....and yet still has a few things from the original in it.....but alot of names and places and events in it were changed.....such as prince calaboss was replaced in this movie with some king guy...but still..i wont spoil it and will only say that it is worht the price of the ticket to see in 3d or 2d eithe rone......i saw it in 2d

i will also say this, while the movie itself is awesome and worth watching, the costume and prop designs are great but to me lack the feel of the greatness that gave the original its special touch, it feels more like an upgraded gladiator roman movie than a greek movie of myth.....that aside though, the new medusa wasnt bad, although i sort of think the old one was scarier, the new one was awesome and all but nto scary.....and he was missing some thigns that the original were well known for.....

1 - the mechanical owl is seen but never used in the movie
2 - no super shield or helmet of invisibility
3 - no old man sidekick guy
4 - some events in the movie were out of sequence they were virtuallly the same as the original but done out of order or not at all, such as how the scorpions showed up......who calaboss is......things like that.....small details really i guess in the overall rating of it.....but still this movie is worth watching......

it was great in 2D, but it lacks alot of things that to me made the original as awesome as it was.....so to me the original is still the best of all, the remake is good but the original is way better, the new one has an open ending for a sequel

We took the kid to see this.... I wasn't too impressed. Nice effects but what Brandon listed was missing. I need the owl and Burgeuss Meredith...

damn straight, he was great, even if he wasnt in the action of the movie he was there for support and knowledge, and helped out alot, plus great actor, it was awesome as far as affects go, but withotu the missing elements i listed, i dont believe it will get as much viewing as it would if it had them, i mean if they had followed the original more closely, i think this movie could have been one of the most awesome remakes ever, but sicne they left out so miuch or re did so many thigns it really......at least to me, not sure who shares this opinino.....it just really lacks the (aas warpath puts it sometimes) BANG ZING POW!! of the original..
