Greetings out there, Mortals! This is The Obsidian Age. Here you will find a variety of Marvel, DC and Other characters picked from a wide array of source material. In here you will be able to play your favorite villains in a struggle of good versus evil with all of the multiverse hanging in the balance. General Zod wants to control all creation and he has sent his only son, Supreme to Earth-Prime where the final showdown begins...

In this room we mix the fine art of storytelling and freeform roleplay with dice action for combat resuloutions. However the dice actions are extremely optional. It might sound scarry and like a drastic change from the norm but our expert staff is more than happy to help you along.

It's simple to play...

Pick a character and post the stats you should be approved within 12-24 hours if less.
Fill out the information about who you are, nothing personal just an idea of where you're from and what times you are around. Some of your likes and dislikes and even your kinks for those of you who wish to partake in other sorts of 'combat' against your mortal enemies.
Read over the rules and ask questions.
Most of all, have fun!

Pretty simple. The dice system will be used for the bigger stories which we run on a weekly basis. Oh yeah, that's right! The Obsidian Age will have a weekly story night which alternates to accomodate Player's needs for a flexible game schedule.
There will also be OOC nights and other fun stuff in The Obsidian Age.

Well first things, first... all the rules for Dark Realms Chat apply first. These can be found HERE.

Now the rules for the room:

If you are going to be OOC then you must use an OOC name which is registered on the The Obsidian Age or make yourself known to the room. If you wish to watch incognito that is fine but the Room Controller reserves the right to know who you are.
Avatars can be no bigger than 350 pixels in height. Each room may have their own limit so be sure to read over each room's rules. No matter what though the limit of the site itself is at 350.
No harrassing of anyone. If someone harasses you then by all means tell Christian or Erin. we will make sure it stops.
There will be sexual situtations in this room. These things are permitted. We ask that you keep the most of it tasteful and more story oriented than not. If you're going to be 'playing' in such a way in public then please center it around a story. Now what happens in private is your own monster. You can lead up to it in the open and even flirt and what not.
AVATARS...

Avatars in the room may be of some suggestive nature and outlandish nudity and sexual situation but only if of a tasteful nature. If you have a question about any of your work, please don't hesitate to show us and we'll gladly tell you if it's acceptable or not.
We have an easy but strict character creation process. Please make sure you read all the threads thuroughly and comply with everything asked. We're rather easy going as far as stats go so if you find your character is not approved, please read threads and make sure you've followed everything properly. I refuse to chase down players to make sure they cross every "T" and dot every "i".
